i do love the Shahbandar trips. both for the good exercise; the weekly dose of fresh air and checking in on nature, and a chance to be with friends to talk about anything under the blue. today's main topic was everyone's progress on their road to finally being able to drive (no pun intended). Alvin had nothing (important) to talk about, lucky bastard already passed his test ages back.
today's trip was quite interesting too: i finally fell flat on my back for the first time, seeing as how it was raining last night. better last night than during the hike, at least. plus the rain made out for a very nice and scenic morning mist amongst the trees. also, along our journey, we spotted and momentarily observed a huge millipede on its way to God-knows-where, and further on towards the end (thanks to Rory's and Zan's eyes), a frickin' scorpion hidden under some plants. i'll keep my feet and shoes to myself as long as his/her/its stinger is kept at bay. most scary.
overall, we made good time from start to finish. i'm finally not finding it TOO hard to climb up and down the sand, rocks and stairs, and here's hoping things keep improving.

lately (if not always), i've only been blogging about Shahbandar and movies. just goes to show how dull life outside of the jungle and the cinema can get post-IB, i guess. oh i do miss meager PTA food.
then again, all that's left are a matter of days.. =)
i'm running out of readable languages to say bye with.
